After erecting buildings for the owner personally, and completing turn-key projects at his other businesses, it was a natural fit for Benchmark to handle the processing area remodel, and the 20,000 SF addition of Lifecycle Biotechnologies.
Benchmark self-performed all the PEMB, erection, structural and miscellaneous steel.
With the assistance from trade partners, Benchmark was able to showcase their ability to “build a better mouse trap”.
The processing area was fitted with containments, pvc lined walls, and complicated HVAC equipment accommodating rigid temperature and humidity requirements. The entire 100x200x25 addition is a refrigerated cold room necessitating increased insulation and full liner panels on the walls and ceiling.
Our scope of work also included; (but not limited to) demo, concrete work (foundations, truck docks, parking, deep tank containment, etc.), electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinklers, and interior finish out.
