The Kelleys came to Benchmark with a few pictures they’d found on the internet, and an edict to design and construct something that would be grandiose. Working with the Benchmark team they settled on the design you see pictured.
The 32’ x 44’ parking cover was designed to have the same pitch and roof type as the newly completed home, that Benchmark had built for the Kelleys only months before.
Large fabricated crow foot trusses, comprised of 7 tons of steel, and also tubing in lieu of purlins, add to the structure’s visual appeal, and also it’s durability. The dark stained cedar tongue and groove compliments the black steel and galvalume standing seam roof.
Again Benchmark combines multiple material and construction types, accomplishing the customer’s intention with features that will cause this project to be much longer lasting than conventional construction methods.
