The Evetts came to Benchmark with a dream of a horse barn featuring classic design with modern aesthetics. Benchmark, along with it’s trade partners, were quick to realize that drainage and grade would be the biggest impediment.

It was resolved that enlarging an existing tank to accumulate enough pad material to avoid importing soil would be the best solution. Benchmark built a steeply pitched, clerestory barn, that features custom blackened copper metal siding, a 20’ eave height, custom rooftop cupola, epoxy floors, multiple stalls, automatic water stations, and modern sectional doors.

All of which mixes classic appeal with modern functionality. The project also included a custom tack room and feed room with creative framing, maximizing space while allowing for beautiful wood stained interior walls. Benchmark’s ability to combine Industrial strength with custom finishes will allow this building to withstand the test of time, and appeal to generations to come.
